So we got a call from the doctor's office and the culture of Eli's infection came back as MRSA. YUCK! I hate that. The wound is actually looking better, probably just from the draining. But we have to switch him back to the Bactrim, since MRSA is resistant to the Clindamycin. At least the Bactrim he only has to take 2x/day and tastes a lot better and doesn't have the crazy side effect warnings.
I need to figure out where this infection is coming from. Chris got an infection on the back of his leg a couple months ago. I am not sure they ever cultured it. It was either MRSA or a bite from a Brown Recluse that got infected. Either way it is pretty much treated the same. And for awhile during the summer Anna kept getting abscesses from her mosquito bites. Luckily, Kiah and I have been unscathed.

Good grief! Lu...MRSA is kind of scary. Stay on top of that. I know you will...I must of forgotten who I was writing to for a minute. Seriously, I hope he gets well and that the girls don't get it. Love you.
