Happy Birthday Annalise!

Annalise turned 2!  We can hardly believe it.  She is such a sweet little girl.  She makes us laugh so much.  We are so lucky to have her in or family.  

Recently I have been trying to figure out what i want to do with her hair.  It is still pretty thin and whispy.  It curls forward around her ears.  But yesterday I noticed it was finally long enough to get into some itty bitty piggy tails... and not look tooooo silly.  So for her birthday, that is what I did!

 We had a small little family dinner party for her at home.  Kiah and Eli enjoyed helping pick a few things out for her, including a cake.  As soon as Anna saw it, her eyes got so huge and the biggest smile swept across her face.  She acted like a birthday cake pro.  She smiled while we sang to her, and right when we finished she blew out her candle without any problems.  I couldn't believe it!

 While the kids were finishing up their cake, Chris and I went and got the presents from the other room.  We came back to this *innocent* face!  She happily slathered the purple frosting all over her face as Kiah and Eli watched and laughed.  Chris and I thought for sure they had helped, but they didn't have a single smudge of that incredibly purple frosting on them.

Anna continues with Speech therapy, but we have cut back to every other week.  She has made HUGE strides and is now "within normal range."  We actually think she is saying a whole lot more than we understand.  So often I think she is just babbling, but then I figure it out, and it makes sense! 

She is very attached to 2 blankets... just like her brother was at this age.

She is a great eater, and will try most things.  She LOVES to make Eli laugh... but honestly, who doesn't.  if you haven't heard him laugh, you might not understand.

And she almost always has a hug and a kiss for us.  AND WE LOVE HER!
