Getting ready to Party!

Last Day of June. I can't believe it.

With all of Chris' attacks/illnesses/problems they are scheduling him for a CT scan. Obviously they recognize something is wrong, but don't know what. So that should be sometime this next month.

Eli had his 12 month check-up. (Ok I realize he is 14 months) He weighed 27 lbs 14 oz. and is 32.75 in. That puts him at the 90-95%. He is out big healthy boy.

We went to a BBQ with some other 2nd yrs over the weekend. There was a little park nearby and both kids really enjoyed it. Kiah, of course, wanted to be pushed on the swing the ENTIRE time. Eli ventured onto the slide all by himself. (he slides down backwards on his tummy, it is pretty cute) He makes me laugh, because sometimes he will do things that are so risky and he does it without fear. (The Doctor even commented on it) But then on the other hand he can be so cautious at the same time. (He also crawls backwards into the zero entry pool at the Y)

My parents should get her on July 3rd for a visit. We are very excited to have them stay with us for a bit. I am trying to get thing cleaned-up so we can all be comfortable and have a good time while they are here. Of course, like always, I have tried to start too many projects right beforehand. I have sorted through all of my clothes and organized them by size, and vacuum bagged them up (labeled, of course) I just got tired of fighting through all the clothes trying to figure out what will fit my growing belly. Not to mention going through most of HCris' clothes and taking stuff out he never wears or doesn't fit. (He put most of it back once he figured out what I had done, I need to be quicker)I have also begun to get clothes ready for our new little girl. Not o mention taking out all the outgrwon clothes for Kiah and Eli.

As if that project wasn't enough, I have begun to make a crafting area for me. I have a TON of projects int hat area of my life. I have been wanting to make a felt board with stories/parts to play with. I have Kiah's Dora Party coming up for her 4th birthday. I have lots of ideas and goals, let's see how many happen. I bought fabric to make chair covers for our dining room chairs last year, still have to make them. Not to mention some old clothes I have altered to make them Maternity clothes that are at the "mostly finished point." I have a short time limit on that project. I decided to switch up our Halloween costumes. The Pratt's (good family friends here in Southaven) were planning to do Wizard of Oz as well. So instead of trying to combined Chris came up with a cute (easy) offshoot. The kids will be a lion, a tiger, a bear, and Chris will be "Oh" and I will be "My!" Thankfully, Sheila, my sister-in-law has a lion and a tiger costume that should/hopefully work for Kiah and Eli. We will see.
