SO I had my first big injury scare with the kids today. I was putting some laundry away in my room when all of a sudden Eli started Crying hard. I didn't go running, cuz usually Kiah gives back the toy and all is solved on its own. But after a few seconds I finally decided to go see what was up. (the cry wasn't changing in intensity) SO when I walked into the play room, Eli was standing in the middle of the room. And I was trying to figure out where he got the red paint from. Then it clicked that is was blood. I knew Kiah threw something at Eli. But I couldn't figure out what would have produced that much blood. It was all over the carpet His close his face. And it was pouring out of his forehead. So i grabbed him an rushed to the bathroom. I finally go the blood to stop. (it was hard cuz Eli would get upset if the towel covered his face) I told Kiah to bring to me what she threw. She said she couldn't find it. I asked her what it was. She said "the wheel" I had no idea what she meant. But I soon figured it out. Our dining room chairs are on casters. One fell off and for some reason she threw it. Not sure if she meant to hit Eli or not. I am so glad it hit him in him forehead and not his nose, mouth, or eye.
There is a big lumpy bump, with about a 1/2" cut. Not sure how deep. But he is acting normal. other than a little clingy. But no more than he normally is when he gets hurt, or is tired.
Anyway. I am now cleaning the carpet and soaking all the clothes and towels. I took some pictures after I got the bleeding stopped. He won't let me clean up his face, lol.
