Teacher Appreciation

This week is Teacher Appreciation.  Kiah's school sent home the game plan for the week.  Tuesday we were supposed to give a cut flower or potted plant.  I decided to go with the flower theme and make these book marks.

I thought they turned out pretty cute.  I added a tag I found here.

On Wednesday we were supposed to send a sweet treat.  So I made some Supper-Duper Caramel Corn.  I made some for all of Kiah's teachers (music, art, computer, library, PE, and any other she suggested) and Eli's teachers.  The kids decorated the bags, all 16 of them.  Then I made a cute little tag to go on them.

Thursday we were just supposed to give them something that will put a smile on their face.  So I thought I would make some fun scissors.  I decided to add the teacher's name.  I also "signed" it for Kiah.  I think they turned out pretty darn nice.  I just might have to make some for myself.

Once again, I added a cheesy little tag!

Those are such cute ideas! I'll have to remember that for future teacher appreciation weeks.

ALthough, I think its really strange that they sent home requests for gifts, LOL. Our schools have sometimes done suggested ideas (or the parents will pull together a plan and have people sign up if they want to participate), but I've never seen assignments given out.

How sweet and useful - all of them! I love it! I bookmark teacher appreciation gifts and Kash thinks it's funny cause we don't have any kids in school - one day though i'll be so thankful!

I would really like to know how to make those flowers! So cute, I wish I would have done something for my kids teachers, maybe next year.
