Easter

We had a pretty laid back Easter in many ways.  We didn't even dye eggs.  Although I still want to, it just never happened.

I did coordinate our attire though.  It just worked out and I went with it.  It is hard to tell from this picture.

I had Anna's dress and Eli's Shirt.  I made Kiah's little shrug from a shirt that was a size to big for her.  I was really impressed with how it turned out, although there are a few changes I would make if I were to do it again, but I am not, so it is what it is.  I had Chris wear whatIi call his "Easter Tie" and I wore a green tank under my white shirt and added some perfectly matching green jewelry.  I never realized how much of that shade of green I had.

Unfortunately this is the best picture I could get.  This was right after church and everyone was done... including me!

Eli's Birthday was on Easter this year.  Most likely the only time it will happen during his lifetime.  If he lives to be 88, he will have the pleasure again!  We did a small indoor egg hunt in the morning before church.  Then for Dinner we had some friends, the Winter's, over for Easter Dinner.  Kate was born on the 24th of April as well.  Unfortunately Ben wasn't feeling well so he didn't come, but we sent home some leftovers for his birthday the next day!  We had another small Easter egg hunt, but outside.  We also retold the story of Christ's Resurrection for the kids.  It was a nice day.

WE are planning to have Eli's birthday party at the same time as Kiah's in a few weeks.  It should be a lot of fun.

You guys look great. Thanks for the great idea too. Peyton could use a shrugg or two to cover some of her more skimpy dresses.
