We Believe

At church I am in the Young Women's Presidency.   It basically means I work with the girls aged 12-17.  And this year the theme is the 13th Article of Faith.

We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonitions of Paul - we believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things.  if there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things

 And as part of my responsibilities I write the monthly newsletter and calendar.  I have seen lots of blogs with their version of a neat way to show the theme.  A LOT of subway art.  Afterall, it is the trendy thing to do.  I admit, I find it attractive, but I tend to be a collector, group, collager.  But I didn't see anything that I really liked, or fit my needs for the newsletter, so I made my own.  I wanted something I could manipulate a bit more.  I also needed something in a landscape orientation.  Everything I had seen was in portrait.  I really like how it turned out.
