Christmas

We went to Atlanta for Christmas.  I took my camera along for the trip.... but I never once took it out.  I thought about it a couple of times, but it just never happened.  We had a good time.  The kids played with most of their cousins.  We played some games and talked a LOT.... into the wee hours.  It was really a lot of fun.

We did  a few small things for the kids on Christmas morning, but we opened most of our presents back at home  after the trip.  The kids got lots of books and games.  Chris got an ipad and I got..... new bedroom furniture.  I LOVE it.  Especially since I am doing some decorating to go with that furniture.  It is spilling out into the rest of the house too.

I have wanted a headboard for some time.  I am always talking to Chris about it.  And the kids needed more drawer space.  So Chris decided that was my Christmas present.  We spent lots of time shopping an looking.  The kids got our old stuff and the new stuff was moved in.  I LOVED using the ipad to design the room!  I made myself a dressing area.  Once I get things moved around and settled I want to take a picture.  There are a few more things to work out and I want to paint the walls.  (luckily the paint we had already bought to paint the room will still work!)  I am not sure I love the curtains yet, but we will see.
