Recently at Church we had a mutual activity about Temple Marriage. We decided it would be fun to wear ugly bride's maid's dresses. I went to the local Goodwill. I couldn't find a dress worth the effort of altering. But I did find a very nice skirt. The only problem was... it was a size 3/4 (junior). Which I am NOT! Seriously... it didn't even fit my thigh. But for $3 I felt I could make it work.
Here is a group shot of us! Ain't we pretty!
Here is my skirt! I just felt a HUGE bow on the butt was the way to go. I forgot to take a picture before hand, so this is in the bathroom when we were changing again. I actually had to put it back on to take the picture, ha!
There were originally 2 tails of the bow hanging down but someone accidentally stepped on one and it tore off. Oh well. It was a one night gig anyway.
The reason we were dressed like ugly bridesmaids was for a mutual activity about Temple marriage. As part of it we also had the Young Women make TP wedding dresses and have a runway show!

that is awesome! I heard you all had some great dresses. Aren't you glad we don't have to dress like that for real :)
The butt bow was definately a hit. I was just about to post this on our blog/facebook - these pictures are just too awesome not to share!
Oh boy, are those for real?
Man, that bow is definitely BIG and UGLY!!! Great job!
