Establishing a House of God: Fasting

As I was searching for a FHE lesson on the internet I came across a Primary Sharing time on the topic.  And it just so happens that they used the scripture D & C 88:119 to lay the foundation.  It had me very intrigued.  The lesson was pretty cute too.

 I started by having them put the houses that were already built in order.  That helped them to figure out what house was missing.  We also discussed our family rules for fasting.  For those that want to know, at age 8 we ask the kids to fast one meal.  At age 12 we will want them to fast 2 meals.  For those that aren't baptized yet, they have the option of practicing, maybe skipping a snack.
