Recently we had a Relief Society activity focused on family. At the end of the classes and break-out sessions there was a lunch and craft. One of the crafts was to make a family picture board. It was meant to hang family photos on, but I needed a new Family Home Evening board, so that is what I made.
I wrote the assignments on clothes pins and printed off some pictures.
I like having a place for the topic of the week. Our last Family Home Evening chart didn't have Paxton on it, since I made it long before he was born. So we added the assignment of conducting to help the kids start to learn how to conduct a meeting. To help with this I added place to hang the agenda. That way we always know where to write down the pertinent information, like what the snack with be, or what song we are singing.
