Valentine's Day

So this is what I made with the kids to hand handout at their school parties.  I think they turned out really cute!

I was able to go to Kiah's school to help with her party.  We have had so many snow days this year, it was hard to plan.  But we got it together.  I was in charge of the games.  That is what i got to do for the Christmas party too.  I LOVE it.  It is so much fun.  This time we played 4 games.

First we had a relay race.  They had to run to one end of the room and pick-up a heart that told them what movement they had to do back, like bear crawl, crab walk, hop on one foot.

Second we played a matching game.  The kids were each given an animal in secret.  It was their secret identity.  Then they all roamed the room making the noise of their secret identity, until they found their match.

Third we stacked conversation hearts.

Finally, I read Valentine's and they had to guess who wrote them.  It was lots of fun.

I love Kiah's teacher.  She is so nice and has such fun ideas for the class.  I am so glad Kiah had her this year.

Those are beautiful! I wish I had taken a picture of May's treat I made her to hand out to her little class on Friday's. I used tootsie pops too! I glued a flower on the back and leaves to the stick so they looked like flowers. It is fun getting to be the mom sometimes!

Maggie was so impressed when she saw Kiah's valentine's - she wanted to Valentine's to come all over again. She has been telling us Happy Valentine's Day ever since Monday. Let me know how you made them and she can give them away next year :)
