Chris and I got married 6 years ago. I can hardly believe it has only been that long. I feel like I have been married to Chris FOREVER! Luckily I like the wife gig.
Chris has been a student almost our entire marriage, which means we really never do much or give gifts (not for anniversary, birthday, or Christmas). we have a tentative plan for that on our 10 yr anniversary(2013) when Chris is finally graduated and hopefully has a REAL job (none of this work-study junk) and we are settled into a budget (afterall, we do have to pay back all the pretend money we are living on now, you know, loans!)
But this year I had an idea for a gift that is affordable. I got the idea at a friends house. (Thanks Kelly) I think she said her brother in-law gave it to them.
I took pictures of various objects I found that had the shape of letter. And then I spelled out our last name.
It was fairly easy. I took a walk around our house, our neighborhood, and a town not too far away. I found what I needed. Luckily I was able to find a frame with six slots! I may swap out the photos as I find some I like better. (R is a tough one) I eventually want to finish the who alphabet and make a nice piece of wall art. And if you get to see the one in our house, yes, the "S" is backwards. I am not sure why I thought it was going the correct way.
