Since Kiah will be starting Kindergarten soon I have been trying to figure out what the school district likes their incoming Kindergartners to know. It hasn't been an easy task, and I am still not sure I really know, but I figure recognizing some letters wouldn't hurt. She is pretty good with numbers, other than mixing up 6 and 9 (but who doesn't?) I found these cute little snowmen online. So Kiah and I have been practicing.
You match the lowercase hat with the uppercase snowman.
I also made this alphabet train to go around the playroom. I printed the letters online, and got the train out of a workbook I have for Kiah.
Yesterday the weather was so nice. Chris had a peer over to practice some optometry chair skills. So we decided to have a BBQ for Lunch. The kids loved playing outside. We also spent a LONG time outside completing some much needed yard work. We filled ten 39 gallon bags with yard debris. And that was just from the front yard. The back yard will have to wait for another day.
Our Azaleas are blooming. Not as full as our neighbors, but our bushes are smaller, so i just tell myself they are younger. I may just have to go and ask what they do to make theirs so full.

I like the snowman idea! Edamame has been really into matching, snowmen and to a certain extent the ABC's. Thanks for the ideas!
