Day two was a tad bit better. We got on our plane. They had to rearrange some seats. We went to check-in and we found our seats were not by each other. This is a problem, since Kiah should not sit by herself, much less Eli. But they got us all together. Unfortunately we ended-up in the jet stream with a VERY strong head wind; about 200 mph. This made us very late and we missed our connecting flight.
They had us on stand-by for the next flight. It was the last flight for the day. And the next available flight with 4 seats wasn't until Monday night! We were 4-7 on the wait list. There were 4 open seats on the plane, but there was a connecting flight that was late and probably wouldn't make it, which would open up 7 more seats. So they called us at the very last minute. Eli was SCREAMING. I promised everyone on the flight he would fall asleep very soon. And he did as soon as the cabin lights turned off.
We made it!
