Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving we went to the church and met with several other families. We bought a 21.5 lb turkey to cook and take. We were using an oven bag and I should have taken about 3.5 hours. But it finished less than 2 hours! Don’t ask me how, cuz I have no clue. I had to figure out how to keep it warm without drying out. I think it helped that I used an oven bag. It was very good! I also cooked a green bean casserole and my garlic cheese dip. I was going to make a chocolate cake too, but I forgot until it was too late. But it worked out fine since there were a LOT of desserts. We also took sparkling cider and soda to drink for everyone. 


I had a piece of Red Velvet cake, but I couldn’t finish it. Eli enjoyed it a lot. I might have to enter him in a pie eating contest soon. He is very good at eating without his hands. I didn’t grab my camera in time to get the best shot. Eli looked like Santa at one point because he had a beard of white frosting. He was too quick with his sleeve for me!
