Eli had a follow-up appt today for his ears. This is the first time they have said they look good. Which really surprised me, because he slept TERRIBLY last night. He woke-up about 4 times. While I was at the office and we got the clean bill of health I began to think about how nice it will be to not have to go back for awhile, when the nurse reminded me that his 1 year follow-up is just a few weeks away. Ugh! I might wait a little longer so his insurance can change and he can see his new big boy doctor.
SO I mentioned that Eli didn't sleep very well last night, but the truth is, none of us did. Chris stayed up all night studying for a big test he has today. It is getting down to the wire with the semester, so all of his big tests are coming. They will wrap-up just in time for finals. Kiah was having a hard time breathing. She was very stuffed-up. So she ended-up sleeping with me; sideways as it seems all small children do in their parents' bed. SO I had to keep waking up to blow Kiah's nose and feed Eli.
Sleep has been an odd thing around the house recently. Kiah has not wanted to take a nap, and Eli has been phasing out one of his naps too. I have been having having rough dreams about some very victimized people. I rather enjoy the nights I do not remember my dreams. Chris even had a bad dream the other night. I am not sure he has had a dream since we got married 5 years ago. I think there must be too much stress floating through our house.
