This last week Mee-Maw went home. The kids did not want to see her go, so luckily she will be back before the years end. As she left I got a cold. It is probably the worst cold I have gotten in some time. It started with a very mild asthma attack Monday afternoon. By Tuesday morning I had a lot of tightness in my chest. I was using my fast acting inhaler a LOT. And headache that knocked me on my back. It was TERRIBLE. I tis getting better, but still not fully gone. But now Eli has it. I feel so badly for him, cuz I do understand. At least I have an understanding of what it is. I think his fever is much higher than mine too. So Chris stayed home with him while I took Kiah to Church.
Chris got a new calling. His is in charge of the Cub Scouts. So he will now have that Wednesday commitment. Also, on Thursday nights he is going to go over to one of our friends houses and study. His wife is going to come over and visit with me. I think the whole set-up may be more for my benefit, cuz everyone knows I don't get much interaction with anyone over the age of 4. But I think I am doing OK. What most people don't know is I have reconnected with a lot of friends online, and have made a large number of new friends. So I do ok. But I am happy to spend more time with the Ketchers.
Being sick for a week has really sent our house into a tailspin. It is beyond control. Unfortunately my body still isn't feeling that well. So I only get little bits done. I often see my friends houses, and I have no idea how they do it.
Saturday we went to the Pratt's house for their daughter Mary's 1st Birthday party. It was fun to talk with people and interact with them. There were a ton of kids there and it was mayhem a good portion of the time, but fun none the less.
Our preschool co-op restarted again last week. So this week is my week. We changed it to once a week, but we lengthened it to three hours. It was so handy last week to drop Kiah off for 3 hours. Unfortunately I was sick, so I didn't get to use much of that time. I am teaching about Groundhogs Day and the letter "k".
Not a whole lot else to share. Just trying to get the ever lengthening list of projects to shorten. I hope someday I can plan my time better, or at least be more reasonable about.
Chris is doing alright in school. His class kinda got the shaft in some regards. One of the professors is leaving mid term to go to another school. So they condensed the class down to four weeks. But then the prof took the first week off and it planning to leave early. So the class is really ending-up 2.5 weeks long. We are going to struggle through. But I have to tell you, this cold was not the best timing. Oh well. Hopefully this next week will be better!
