Holiday Wrap-up

Well, that home made lint catcher was causing more problems than it was fixing, so we got rid of it. So far so good.

We spent Thanksgiving in Michigan with Chris' family. It was lots of cousins, and lots of fun. It was the first time that all of us have been together since June of 2004. It was crazy with 6 children under the age of 4 running around. The drive home was no fun because Kiah caught the flu. It is really hard to help sooth a small child puking their guts out while they are strapped upright in a car seat. We contemplated getting room for the night, but we kept rolling and made it home.

Chris finished off the semester and Luna's parents and Brother came out to visit for Christmas. It was fun to have them here. We did some basic weatherproofing of the house and it has made a huge difference. And we did it all just in the nick of time. A cold snap blew through right afterwards.

Chris' maternal grandfather passe away just before Christmas. Thankfully Chris was able to go and visit him a Thanksgiving.

Luna has begun to do Once a month cooking again. It saves so much time in the kitchen. It seems to be more than twice as much work with 2 kids, so less time in the kitchen is great.

Eli's teeth are growing in like a vampire. Usually the top front teeth come in before the side teeth, but not for Eli. Apparently that is how Chris' teeth grew in too. I hope to get a good picture once they grow in a bit more.

We got our first bill since fixing the pipe and it was 1/4 of the previous cost!
