P

Chris has Passed Boards.  He got a P!  We are so excited.  He wrapped-up his last semester of classes too.  SO now we just have externships.  It has been a long road, but there IS a light at the end of the tunnel.  Sometimes it is a little surreal.  This is all new territory for us.  

One year to go.  It feels a little bitter sweet at times.   I know that will only intensify as the year continues.  We have built a little home where we are.  A majority of our marriage has been here.  2 of our kids will be born here.  Eli was barely 3 months old when we moved; Kiah had just turned 3.  That is a lot of memories.  A lot to hold in my heart.

On the other side of that coin, we, or at least I, have always felt temporary.  Anytime we head back to California it always feels like home.  Like I can breathe a little deeper; relax and let my guard down a bit more.  It really is hard to explain.  It probably just has something to do with familiarity.  It was where I was raised.

Regardless, Chris PASSED the first part of Boards.    2 parts to go... but those parts arn'e nearly as arduous as part 1.  Passing part 1 is a BIG DEAL!!  Yay!
