Binky Free Zone

For record keeping purposes I just wanted to post that we are a binky free zone now!  We have been for a little while, but I just realized I hadn't posted it.  Eli and Anna only used them to sleep, so we were pretty much there. Eli just would not give it up as long as Anna still had one... so we just ripped that band-aid off and went without. It actually wasn't that hard.  We just pretended we couldn't find the binkies.  Eli went with it, only really asking after a few days.  Anna was the hardest the first few nights.  But ultimately was more tired than the complaining was worth.

Now every time a rogue pacifier turns up we try and hide it before it becomes an item to covet.  But honestly, I think they are over it.  And I am pretty sure all the hidden "spares" are found and resting in a nice clump in a drawer out of a child's reach!
