Date Night

As Chris gets closer and closer to graduating there are more and more opportunities to wine and dine, meet and greet, and rub elbows with various people to seek out various career options. So far Chris has gone to most of them alone, but last week we were presented with a chance for both of us to go... WITHOUT THE KIDS!

Chris and I had an atypical "courtship." We never actually dated. So I guess it isn't that unusual that we don't get to date much now. Honestly, we can probably count the number of times we have been out by ourselves since we had kids on one hand. So it was very exciting for us to have the chance.

The dinner was great and the company was too. We sat with Murray and Margaret.

Date nights are rare for us too! When it costs more for the babysitter than it does for the date it gets a little rough. I consider it date night if all the kids are in bed by 8 - and we can relax a little :)

I am so with the comment above mine! It's good to know that we aren't the only ones bad about following the dating counsel. You look great too.
