We have been trying to keep busy, and I think we have been successful. On 2/11 our Mom's Group went to The Botanic Garden for a special little class they had for the kids. They read a story or two, played some games, and planted some sweetpeas.

Here are a couple of pictures of Kiah decorating the pot for her sweetpeas.

We also went to the prehistoric garden at the Botanic Gardens. It was incredibly windy and when a tree blew over we decided to head in. Kiah really enjoyed it, but Eli was miserable. I had to carry both him and Anna the entire time.

I was a little worried about Anna, she had a fever and didn't sound very good, so I took her to the Doctor right afterward. I decided to have Eli's ears checked since I was pretty sure he had fluid in his ears, and I want to get moving on tubes. He ALWAYS has fluid in his ears or an infection and it is really starting to impact his speech. Both of them had ear infections. It was no wonder Eli was miserable.

The Doctor couldn't believe how big Eli was, or how small Anna was. I just don't know what to do. I worry about her all the time. I was actually feeling a bit better about her weight when we went in to see the doctor. I was telling him how much better she looked, and he turned and told me it wasn't good. My fear is he doesn't know how to solve the problem either. We are going to be a little more "proactive" once she feels a bit better from the ear infection. It looks as though Anna will also have problems with her ears as well. It really isn't much of a surprise. I was plagued with ear infections until I was 21. I still get one every once in awhile. Apparently Chris got them regularly too.

For Valentine's day we went to Chick-Fil-A. It is about as close to going out alone that Chris and I get these days. The kids run around in the play area and Chris and I can chat. We had planned to go out while we were in California, but Anna ended-up in the hospital instead.

Kiah and I also made heart shaped rice crispy treats.

We also made heart shaped pizza.

We went to the Children's Museum with some friends. We saw the Tooth Fairy there and took a picture. It is Dental Hygiene month after all.

The only good picture I got of Eli was him sitting in the back of the patrol car. HA!

My asthma has gotten worse recently. Last night I had the worst Asthma attack of my life. It really scared me, which doesn't help. I actually got it in my sleep, which I though was weird. But my rescue inhalers finally kicked in. Chris keeps telling me he doesn't want to meet our deductible this year. I think he is just tired of hearing all my stories about the hours of phone calls I have been making to insurance companies and doctor's offices and billing companies and processing companies, but if I can't get my asthma under control, I am going to have to see a specialist. I just don't want to sit in the ER!

That's scary! Asthma is serious stuff! I hope it gets better soon!
