Monterey

Recently we took a trip to Monterey Bay Aquarium. It was fun to let the kids run around a bit. It was also a fun time to see all the Pacific sea life. We got there just in time for lunch, so we got to see a lot of fish feedings. Sardines really are hypnotic.

On our way there we stopped at Casa de Fruta. It is a "fruit" stand. Or at least it used to be when I was a kid. We used to stop there on all our trips to the Northern coast. It used to be a fruit stand and a small kids play area with bark chips and some bent metal climbing gyms. I think there was a 2D train. Well it has grown up in a big way. There is now Casa de Sweets filled with every candy you can think of; I felt like i walked into a candy store in a movie. Of course that is where you buy your tickets for Casa de Choo Choo (where you catch the mini train that circles the park) and the two-story carousel. ( I think there is a petting zoo and a place to learn and practice minig for gold). There is also a full blown children's park/play area now. There is Casa de Restaurant, Casa de Wine and a Chevron station. There is a Casa de Motel and an RV park. Holy Cow has it grown.

I am LOVING going to acupuncture. It has helped me so much. My shoulder hardly hurts anymore! Not to mention my Asthma has gotten better. I really wish I could see what my back looks like after he is done sticking me with all the needles.
