Things have been a bit crazy around here. The kids have been sick. Which has made me a bit sick, probably because I am with them all day long. But thankfully Chris has not gotten sick. He just can't afford it. Although, this week his back has been out. Luckily, it is spring break, so he could take it a bit easy.
Kiah woke-up one night crying about "itchy ears." But the way she was going on made me thing it was more, so I made appointments for both kids to see the Doctor. I got there we found out that they would take Eli's insurance, but not Kiah's. (long story as to why we all have different insurance) So I had Eli seen, since he was WAY overdue for his well-baby visits. Well, he had a double ear infection. So we got antibiotics for him. Then I took Kiah to a Doctor that would take her insurance, waited forever, didn't like the Doctor, and there was nothing wrong. Eli was back to his happy big eater self. (that was his only real symptom, a lack of eating) Then Kiah started throwing-up. NO FUN! I got her an appointment with a new doctor. He was fabulous. He also said she didn't have an ear infection but she was starting to get a sinus infection and some bad chest congestion, which is why she was puking. Then, the day before Eli's follow-up he stopped eating again. His ear infection was back and much worse. They had half the staff come in and look at his ear. And they ran so many tests because they couldn't believe the results. So he got a new antibiotic. Fingers crossed that is will warm-up and we can get the bugs out of our house.
Kiah has been making us laugh a lot recently. I have not laughed so hard in such a long time. It is sad that I had this to laugh at but it was still funny. It still makes me laugh.
The other day she ate about 10 prunes, I had to convince her to have raisins instead. (I was hoping because they were older and drier they would not have the intense effect the prunes would)Anyway. She stuck one up her nose and couldn't get it out. She got panicky. But it blew out a lot easier than I thought it would.
Kiah and I made some Easter baskets for family this last week. She had so much fun making them. She loves to do art projects.
