So I woke-up Sunday morning ready for my special day. I couldn't wait to find out what Chris had in store for me. I know that I was in charge of part of the Children's presentation at Church which started at 12:30. SO I began to get ready. At about 11:45 things took a turn for the worse. AT first I thought it might be nerves, but by noon I was on the phone finding a replacement. I was sick! It was the worse case of the flu that I can remember experiencing. The terrible part was CHris soon followed me an hour later.
Kiah, who had recently recovered from this flu was jumping off the walls in her "I'm finally feeling normal" stage of recovery. My brother was thankfully able to watch Kiah at his place for a few hours. So even though it was the worst Mother's Day I did get the best Mother's Day present I could ever want!!!
So I am sure someone out there can top this..... I don't want to hear about it. Just let me wollow in my own pity.
